Wickman Park, Rocklin This two acre neighborhood park was developed as part of the Two Oaks single family residential subdivision by D.R. Horton. Upon completion, the park was deeded over to the City of Rocklin. The park featured two play areas for neighborhood children, with a picnic/BBQ area located to serve families. A large turf area provided space for organized sports such as soccer. A perimeter concrete path around the edge of the park provides a loop for walkers and joggers. A wide landscaped buffer zone between the path and a concrete wall separating the park from adjoining businesses is heavily planted with flowering shrubs, creating colorful accents and focal points around the park. Groves of Redwood trees help screen the adjoining businesses from the view of park users.
